PRO TIP – Our lightweight stakes are great for carry, but sometimes the ground is harder than anticipated or you have many to deploy. Use a ¼” x 12” drill bit (carbide preferred) on a cordless drill to predrill ground holes as you go. This will make placement much easier!
Rubber mallets are ideal for hammering Trail Chasers in a normal soil profile such as your lawn or garden, athletic field, and other similar environments. Use a handy tote bag or tray for carry. For heavier compacted soil or gravel, or for placing large numbers of markers, consider using a compact cordless drill with a 1/4” x 12” hammer bit. For foundation or field layouts with specific measurements use a simple and inexpensive transit like the DeWalt level we have found with great reviews.
